If the interest is mutual, we move to a letter of intent setting out the valuation and the principles of the transaction, then to a focused due diligence covering your client portfolio and framework contracts, your qualifications and safety record, your plant and your teams. Expect two to six months between the first meeting and closing. You keep full visibility at every stage, and we work around your operational constraints, not the other way round.

We look for established businesses in critical infrastructure services in Europe, with a strong safety record, recurring revenue from frameworks or maintenance contracts, and a management team that still wants to build. Size matters less than quality: we are interested in businesses whose clients would notice if they disappeared. What we do not compromise on: safety culture and the way a company treats its teams.

In practice, that takes four forms:We take on the support functions that consume your time without creating commercial value: accounting, payroll, tax, legal, IT, insurance, and the administrative management of qualifications and authorisations. Your operational teams and contract managers can then refocus on the client and on delivery.We give you access to a central team dedicated to high-stakes subjects: responses to tenders and multi-year frameworks, finance and investment in fleet and plant, recruitment of site managers, technicians and operatives, SHEQ expertise and accreditations (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and the qualifications each network operator requires), and the roll-out of digital works-management tools across the group.We run a peer network across the group: between owners, between SHEQ managers, and between team leaders in the same trade, power networks, gas, water, digital infrastructure, roads.We activate cross-selling between our sectors: power, gas, water, digital infrastructure and roads. Today, the same client (local authority, network operator, industrial site) often buys these services from separate suppliers.What we do not do: sign off your operational decisions, impose a common ERP, dictate pricing alignment or interfere in your client relationships.

Because the market is moving faster than most independents can fund. Regulated investment programmes in water and power are at record levels, clients are narrowing their panels down to a small number of framework partners, and skilled labour is scarce and expensive. Joining now means growing with that wave rather than being squeezed by it, and it lets you secure part of your wealth while continuing to run the business you built.

A fund buys with an exit in mind, usually at five years, and the business is sold on to the highest bidder. We are permanent shareholders: Nexara is built on a thirty-year horizon, with no exit plan.
